Job Description
- Planning, organizing, and controlling of Warehouse’s and Loading’s over-all operations.
- Managing stock in terms of the self-assured receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of goods; document recording and data entry into system.
- Making plan of all warehouse resources and activities constantly in relation to company objectives and targets.
- Supervising schedule of loading and co-operating with Production, Planning, CSD to make sure the delivery time is followed as required.
- Supervising and ensuring that workplace’s health and safety requirements are met and taking responsibility for the security of the factory and stock.
- Issuing inventory, IN/OUT status, dead stock, goods age, consumption, and manpower status reporting to General Manager – Viet Nam.
- Following up ERP program and purchasing procedures with actual activities.
- Implementing cost reduction principles in all aspects of warehouse transactions and activities.
- Following up and controlling daily absence and over time calculation.
- Managing headcount and co-operating with HR to evaluate yearly performance appraisal, carry out position evaluation and conduct probation analysis.
- Making plans to develop warehouse staff and loading team by internal on-the-job training.
- Promoting constant motivation among staff to strive for an efficient and effective warehouse/ loading administration.
- Always researching and making plans to improve and develop all warehouses/ loading operations according to company’s objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain Management (SCM), logistics, or accounting.
- At least 5-year experience in warehouse management and having experience in manufacturing companies is an advantage.
- Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies.
- Strong leadership skills and teamwork spirit.
- Strong time management and organization.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision making skills.
- Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal.
- Computer: MS Office; being familiar with ERP is an advantage.
- Good writing and speaking English.
